“Made to Order” vs.”Ready-to-Ship”

Check a listing carefully to understand if a product is pre-made and ready to ship or if the product is ordered before it’s handmade.   Products listed as “Made-to-Order” will take 3-9 weeks.  Products listed as “Ready-to-Ship” can ship within 48-72 hours.  

Our company handcrafts all custom ordered products within 3-9 weeks, depending on the time of year.  Oftentimes, orders process faster than that but we will not guarantee a faster processing time or commit to a completion deadline.  Paying in full or for expedited shipping increase the processing times.   

“Handmade”  Disclaimer The product(s) you receive might vary slightly from the product picture due to the nature of your product(s) being 100% handmade.   

Product Care and Maintenance

  • Do not leave awning up when not in use.  Anchoring your awnings into the ground with stakes is the preferred method.  We cannot be responsible for damaged caused by any method the user chooses to anchor the awning to the ground.
  • Do not store awnings wet or put them away wet without thoroughly drying out first.  We are not responsible for mold or damage created by moisture.  It is your responsibility to dry out your awning prior to folding storage
  • Use Waterproofing spray at your own risk.  Outdoor fabrics are designed for outdoor use.  Do not Machine wash or dry, and do not dryclean.  Most dirt can be removed with a soapy sponge and water.  
  • Do not use awning near open flame or heat sources.  Man-made fabrics are made with materials that ignite easily

Your product can be damaged if:

  • Stretched beyond it’s limits, or scrapes on your entry door.
  • Left out in the elements for a long period of time
  • Machine washed, Machine dried, or dry cleaned.

Sizing for Custom Fittings

Please take accurate measurements prior to ordering.  Your best guess will not get you a refund or return if it doesn’t fit.

 

Shipping

Our company ships through the following carriers:  UPS & USPS

Shipping is normally free in the US to most addresses.

We happily support and love our international customers. International shipping is available, please contact us for rates.

Pink Flamingo Awnings is not responsible for duty or brokerage fees for international shipping. 

These charges come from your country during importation of your package.

Returns

We do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges on custom orders.   NO EXCEPTIONS.  If you are unhappy with your order we will do our best to remedy the situation, but you have 30 days to contact us after your order has delivered.   

Personalized and/or customized goods are exempt from being returned unless the product arrives defective. 

Ready-to-ship awnings have a 30 return policy, as long as they have not been opened and used.   (yes we can tell)

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.   

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.    If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@pinkflamingoawnings.com and send your item to: Pink Flamingo Awnings – 901 Mason Way – Medford OR 97501

Shipping

To return your product, you should mail your product to: Pink Flamingo Awnings – 901 Mason Way – Medford OR 97501

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.ing
